Who We Are

Comprised of a specialized team of scientists, engineers and industry experts, Quantum Petrophysics has over 175 years of combined experience in the energy sector.

Chris Anderson.
(Quantum Petrophysics Sigma, President)

Chris Anderson has been the President of Quantum Petrophysics Sigma since October 01, 2017. Prior to joining QPS, Chris held the position of Executive VP of Lonestar West (September 2015 to June 2017), CEO for Big Eagle Services (June 2011 to June 2015), VP of Canadian Operations of High Arctic Energy Services (January 2006 to June 2011), Central District and Country Customer Service Centre Manager for Halliburton Energy Services (June 2002 to January 2006), Country Shared Services Manager for Halliburton Energy Services (October 1999 to May 2002), Country PSL Operations Manager for Halliburton Energy Services (April 1998 to September 1999), Country Manager (aka. NWA Manager (Natural Work Area – Canada) for Halliburton Energy Services (October 1995 to March 1998), Country PSL Operations Manager for Halliburton Energy Services (September 1993 to September 1995) and Northern District Manager for Otis Engineering, a wholly owned subsidiary of Halliburton Energy Services (September 1990 to August 1993). Prior to this and after finishing University in Regina, Saskatchewan, Chris was hired on with Otis Engineering in February of 1979 and worked his way up from the field in the Special Services Department (Hydraulic Workover Snubbing, Blow Out Control Snubbing, Hot Tapping, Freezing Services and Gate Valve Drill outs) to Canadian Special Services Supervisor; then onto various Managerial positions for Otis Engineering Canada.

Rob Badry B.Sc.
(Quantum Petrophysics Sigma, Petrophysicist)

Rob joined Quantum Petropyhsics in Feb 2018. Prior to this, he was Petrophysics Advisor for Schlumberger Canada Ltd. His 37 year journey with Schlumberger started in 1978 as a field engineer after obtaining his B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Calgary. He held several field, sales, and interpretation assignments before joining the interpretation development group in 1988. Since then, Rob has been has been actively involved with the field testing, commercial introduction, interpretation technique development, training and general interpretation support of advanced wireline services. In addition to many technical presentations at professional conferences, he has more than 30 publications as author or co-author in conference proceedings and peer reviewed journals, and holds 4 patents related to interpretation and application of advanced wireline logging tools.

Jeremy Ahlquist, B.Sc.
(Quantum Petrophysics Sigma, Operations Manager)

Jeremy joined Quantum Petrophysics Sigma in Jan 2018, were he specializes in new technologies and applications for through casing reservoir evaluation. Prior to joining Quantum Petrophysics, Jeremy spent 10 years with Weatherford where he specialized in open hole and cased hole reservoir evaluation, thermal completions, and SAGD applications. Jeremy has gained over 10 years of extensive field and analytical experience with both open hole and cased hole wireline logging in many parts of the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin after obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Calgary in 2008. Jeremy continues to be an integral part of implementing new technology and methods in analyzing Surface Casing Vent Flow (SCVF), and Gas Migration (GM).
